So weird...taxs, especially those who used TT or HR

Since we resolved the prize issue, I set about to file our taxes today.

I realized that originally I was using TT Deluxe edition, which will cost $30 to use.

Then I put everything in HR Block free edition and my refund was lower. Then I went to TT free edition and got the same estimated refund as HR.

So HR and TT free edition give me one refund amount, and TT-Deluxe edition gives me a higher amount, but even after paying the $30 fee, we'd come out $50 ahead.  Should I just file TT Deluxe?

Re: So weird...taxs, especially those who used TT or HR

  • I say use the TT Deluxe, if that will get you the most money.

We used Tax Slayer, and it was like $15 to file.

  • TT Deluxe looks for more ways to get you a higher refund, that's what we used.
  • We used TT Deluxe also.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • We used Jason's grandparents Wink

I'd go with TT if I were you though.

  • Ditto PP's.  It's because EZ File (Turbo Tax Basic) is just filling out boxes on a 2 page form.  TT Deluxe asks you more questions, which in turn results in more deduction opportunities.
