Re: Photoshop Cs5
Unfortunately I'm not going to be helpful at all when I say that I don't have a book to recommend (other than just perusing your digital photography section at the book store and see what is the most user friendly manual), BUT I can recommend playing around with it using good ole trial and error. My first experience with photoshop was with a Cs3, and I was so confused. I ended up getting Elements from my mom, and it was more user friendly, but also very limiting (gradients and masking left much to be desired). I now am using Cs5 and I love it.
May I ask what it is you're trying to do? Sometimes it helps to put "how to ____ using Cs5" in google, and that helps a lot too.
