  • Can you save the main file as index.htm?

    I am "deaf-initely" one of a kind.

  • I do not know what index.htm
  • I'm guessing you don't own the ardysslife.com website and are just a distributor for the company?  If you do own the website, go find your web developer, and tell her to give the homepage a title.

If you don't own the website, it's a bit more difficult:

You could shorten the URL slightly by going to tinyurl.com and creating an alias for the original link.

But that won't help the way it looks when you post it as a link on Facebook.  The problem is that the main site doesn't actually have a title (look at the difference when you create a Facebook link to one of the other pages like http://www.ardysslife.com/BodyReshapers.aspx?ID=bodymagicshapeup).

If you really want to fix the Facebook display issue, you could go and create a free website somewhere, and just set up a single homepage with whatever title text you want, and add an immediate redirect to your ardysslife.com page.  But that's kind of overkill just for a pretty Facebook link.  And immediate redirects are a pain for people who like to use the Back button in their browser.

  • You'll want to see if you can buy the domain name you want. You can always point that to the complicated url, but at least when someone enters the proper url it will be easier for your guests.

If you aren't very experienced in making a site, you may want to start with a Wordpress site or something similar which will allow you to update without coding.
