dh got a raise!
dh's boss called to tell him he got a raise! dh kept it a secret until just a couple of hours ago. apparently, when they hired dh fresh out of college they weren't expecting much, so they offered him a very 'entry level' pay grade. had they known how smart and awesome he is they def. would've offered him a higher salary starting out. his boss decided to make up for it now!
it's not a million bucks or anything..but def. a step in the right direction

Didnt he recently get a raise...or maybe that was a bonus.

That is great news! I know he works hard and deserves it!
I think a lot of jobs hire fresh out of college kids at lower levels not expecting much. I know when I got this job that is what happened and slowly kept getting raises even if they were small they have helped bring up to a more comfortable level.
yeah, he got promoted back in the fall and got a raise then. every bit helps, esp now that I'm only part time!
although we do have to buy a new roof ~$5000, our laptop just died (not a necessity, but we'd want to replace it at some point) and my car barely made it back from an hour and a half daytrip yesterday. so it's either going to need another expensive fix or we may just have to replace it soon : /
we're thankful God's providing though!
