One more shot (cat related)
Thanks so much to everyone for your advice regarding my cat. We brought him back to the vet this morning because he's gotten weak again. The vet gave him a steroid injection and prescribed more steroids for us to give him at home. She said that, if this doesn't work, there is nothing more she can do for him 
So, it doesn't sound like money would make a difference anyway. I have been prepared for this and am okay, although I don't think I will ever get over my guilt for ignoring him after the baby came. I really hope this works so I can give him lots of love.

And reassurance that I think you have pretty much done everything possible for this cat-- whatever happens, you'll know you tried all that was available.
