Handy family members

Might I just say that I love having a few handy family members!  DH is not at all handy when it comes to power tools and hanging up pictures and such, but my grandpa is in town for the weekend and helping us hang up and install so much!  He's insulating our garage door (which should help save on heating and cooling costs), hanging pictures and a giant mirror, putting up curtain rods, hanging a towel bar, AND shaving down our bathroom door so we can actually shut it again!  Thank you, God, for giving SOMEONE in my family the handy-man gene!

LOL-I'm more handy then DH. Things like assembling furniture, hanging pics and curtain rods, that's about it. However, he is great with the electronic/computer stuff.

My DH is pretty handy around the house. He is currently building a new desk and it's turning out really nice. When he finishes the desk he is going to make a us a dinning room table! He has the take charge personality. I'm more of the "holder" durning a big project which is both nice and kind of annoying somtimes

My H used to be a custom contractor.  So he knows how to do everything!  It's so fabulous.  I grew up in a family where no one knew how to fix anything, so I still find it completely amazing.  I think it might be one of the reasons I fell in love with him
