***vinegar disinfects or not**
so I clean with vinegar mostly, baking soda etc...but I was reading some article in a local magazine that said vinegar isnt really good for disinfecting...and then it got into some chemistry (which is so NOT my area..)
anyone read this? was I wrong to think it was a disinfectant?

If you are concerned w/disinfecting (for kitchens/baths) try Method products that contain thyme. Thyme is a natural disinfectant. Check out the Method website. I use it once a week in the baths/kitchen to make sure everything is nice and clean :-) Use vinegar the other days.
That's what I use if I do want to disinfect. I'll do it after dealing with raw meat on/around my counters, for example.
I don't bother much otherwise. I like that peroxide quickly degrades to water and oxygen, so there is no residue to worry about.
