UGH....my MIL has taken to calling me DAILY to see if I'm having the baby yet. So annoying. Every time I answer I hear: "this is your daily check-in..." Makes me squirm. Then, she acts all disappointed when I say nothing is happening. Well, I still haven't reached my due date (this Friday) - Heaven forbid I go past my due date, she'll probably call twice a day! AHHHH
Re: daily phone calls
I quit answering my phone towards the end. My dad was driving me CRAZY with his constant calling. He really wanted to be at the hospital while I was in labor and I wanted no part of having him (or anyone besides Chase) there. He would call and I didn't answer so he would then call my mom to make sure everything was ok.
well, I didn't answer when she called yesterday, so she immediately called DH. With his migraines lately, he doesn't really want to talk to his mom - she's rather annoying.
She then called me later, AFTER I had already called her back and left a message that I was NOT in labor.
So, since DH is at work today, I figured I'd better answer so that she doesn't call and bug him...and then freak out when he doesn't answer. Thankfully, the phone call is less than 5 minutes.
