Who has seen it?
What did you think of it?
Are any of you following the Love Dare book?
We saw it and thought it was much better than we had expected. We bought the book today and plan to use it.
Re: Fireproof, the movie
I haven't seen it yet, but may try to next weekend. I'd really like to support it while it's at the theater. I may pick up the book next weekend too.
I read that too. I really have lots of respect for Kirk Cameron.
I saw this movie the Friday night it opened. It really impacted me. I haven't looked at the book yet but I think I will check at BAM this weekend. I have told all my friends and family that anyone who is in a serious relationship, engaged, or married needs to see it. I loved it.
It's part of the movie...after you see it you will understand I don't want to give away any spoilers.
Ohhh!!! *intrigued*
Am I the only one who doesn't understand the stage kiss issue? I mean, it is sweet I guess, but do we think actors who don't choose to use their wives as body doubles in their movies are doing something wrong? I guess I have just never heard of that before.
It's not that I think that other actors are wrong. Acting is their job and you do what you have to in a job. To me it's about the fact that Kirk Cameron is so committed to his wife that he refuses to kiss another woman. It's not that big of a scene in the movie and it only happens once, so it's not like his wife was out there running around being a double in a lot of scenes. That's just my opinion though. It just gave me lots of respect for him as a man.
I don't want to spoil the movie for you but it goes directly along with the movie...trust me.
hubs and i saw it the weekend it came out and we both loved it.
there are 2 or 3 posts about it on here from around that time a few pages back
