The company I interviewed with said they would contact me on Monday. Its Monday, can you call me now please? Email? Trained messenger pigeon? Because I'm having a heart attack right now. I have my phone's volume all the way up and I keep checking it thinking I missed them.

I'm afraid they're going to offer me the job but not as much money as I *should* be making with my degree and certification. Which I would be tempted not to take it if they did. But I don't have any other options at the moment.

Ok I need to find something more productive to do!

I always feel like such a loser waiting around for calls like that.  But I agree - it's totally nerve wracking.  If you say you're gonna call me Monday - CALL ME MONDAY!  The worst is when they call the next day (because I never want to call at like 4:30 on the day they SAID they would call and bug them at the end of the work day in order to find out if I will hear anything - even tho my finger is forever itching to dial them up and be like WTF yo!) and they are all nonchalant about it...as if I haven't been sitting here in the edge of my seat forever - but then I act all "whatever" about it because, like I said, I don't want to appear to have nothing else to be waiting on.  lol  Gah!

No call today. I sent them a thank you email to maybe remind them "hey you need to call me". They said I was a strong candidate but they have one more person to interview next week. So I'll hear next week.
