Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Okay Ladies..what's up?  I see that not a lot of us are replying to my check-ins :(  Are we falling of the wagon?  Not caring as much?  Want the check-ins to be something different?

    Although I'm not proud of this week... I've been sick since last Tuesday night so I haven't done anything since I ran that night. I started to feel better this weekend so of course I went out and did too much and now I'm sicker than before.

    Votes on whether I should power through and work out tonight or go home?

  • Down 2 lbs from last week and busting my hump working out/walking!  =) 

    I've been walking on the weekends since they closed the gym location closer to the house - and they're closed on Sundays anyhow.  Hitting the elliptical twice a week, one night on the stationary bike and one night of free weights and nautilus equipment.  I was resting on Tuesdays but I think I'm going to start getting Amanda out & walking after dinner now that it's light out.  :)

    I would workout if you aren't feeling completely exhausted.  The adrenaline and sweat will help your immune system!

    Agreed! But keep it light

    I haven't been working out as much as I should, but I've been eating well.  My goal this week is to commit to my workouts more!

  • Oh, no, these have to stay! : )

    Workouts were great Monday & Tuesday...but then AF came and with my endo my cramps are SOOOO bad, so I was lazy until yesterday (can't believe I missed that many days!). Yesterday I ran though, and so far no shin splints!!!! I'm so excited to be able to run again! I plan to kick this week's ass on the workout and eating. Didn't start off so well yesterday, but before that I had done good all last week. I only loss .5 pound, but without working out all week...I'll take it. I just have 6 pounds to lose to get under wedding weight by anniversary (two weeks). I want it SO bad! I have a ways to go after that, but it would be nice to meet that first goal!

  • I personally, haven't responded to all of these lately because I have not been losing weight and I'm frustrated :(  I've been either at the same weight every week, or up a slight bit.  I know why...I've been slacking on working out and not eating the way I should, but I'm still frustrated.  I just wish I could eat whatever I want, whenever I want, and be a size 6.  Ok, vent over!!!
