I'm a gardening newbie and am interested in what websites seasoned gardeners find helpful for tips or instruction on how to get started.
I've looked into Sunset Magazine's website- they have short videos on how to plant basic veggies so that was helpful.
TIA!

It's the website of the MIssouri Botanical Garden. The plant finder search is great--you put in what characteristics you want and what zone you're in, and it gives you plants that match.
There is a whole section on gardening information, and one on pest identification and management. There is info on organic gardening and lawn care, and calendar for gardening and lawn maintainance tasks.
It takes a little practice and exploration to really see/use all the things that are there, but once you get used to it, you'll see what a fantastic reference source it is.
