Update on FIL

So, DH's stepmom called.

FIL has pneumonia and they had given him antibiotics. The antibiotics they gave him caused and allergic reaction and to counter-act the reaction they have to pump him with saline and benadryl. This all caused a blood infection.

So now they are giving him some antibiotic that he has to get three bags of, but because they are worried about a reaction, they will only allow him to have one bag a day.

FIL called DH this evening and told him NOT to visit. We had already decided that I wouldn't go, but DH would. FIL doesn't want Dave to get anything and give it to me and the baby (aww)

So he'll be in the hospital for about three days or so, if all goes well.

thank you for the update, i'm keeping your FIL in my thoughts. i hope the antibiotics work well and he can go home soon.
