fun things to do....
I need ideas for things to do with kids on the weekends before the weather gets too hot (I have a 10yr old and a 5 month old).
We have a membership to the zoo and use that frequently, but want to do something else outdoors on a Sat or Sun afternoon. What does everyone do for fun???

We usually check AZcentral.com to see what events are going on. Last weekend we went to the Tempe Art Festival (there were face painters, clowns, balloon artists etc. for kids) and the Ahwatukee Farmer's Market, where a dog show was going on in the adjacent park.
We go to Freestone park in Gilbert a lot, just to walk around the ponds and hang out, but your 10 yr. old might like the train, ferris wheel and carousel (http://www.freestonerr.com/).
I have a 7 year old and a 15 month old and some things we do for fun are:
-Phoenix Children Museum
-Train parks
-The play factory, pump it up,
-az science center
-zoo
-aquarium
-athem outlets
-different parks in our area
-movies (childrens movies and during the day so you can bring the baby)
-pottery painting
-encanto park
-Desert Ridge, scottsdale quarter, or kierland commons
