Re: Weird, made-up kid
Mine is Penelope
My grandmother apparently wanted to name my mom Penelope, but instead of pronouncing it like anyone else probably would, it was going to be Pen-a-lope. So now every time I see that name, I say it wrong in my head.

LOL - too funny! And what name did your mother end up with (and who intervened???)?
I'm not sure who talked her out of it, but they went with Donna...with no crazy pronounciation!

And yes, you really have to dig for all of this info. Apparently some of the nesties had met the liar in person previously or something and then saw the news article?

This. She may be insane to have created the third child, but these followers are crazycakes to do all this research to find out about her.
There was some chick on another message board (Gosselins without Pity, maybe, I don't remember - I read about it on yet another message board) who made up a dying kid, and posted all of this crazy sh*t. She even started posting as another (fake) son, giving updates. It was crazy town, but totally fascinating.
I'm sure it happens all the time, though. Some people are desperate for attention. Honestly, after reading about Mrs. Berlin Wall, nothing on the internet surprises me anymore.
"While she remains a virgin with humans, she insists she has a full, loving relationship with the wall.
Mrs Berliner-Mauer, who lives in Liden, northern Sweden, said: "I find long, slim things with horizontal lines very sexy"
Ummm...ewww.
Yup. She apparently has a website, too.
I just read all of the stuff off of that website to my co-workers, crazy town!!
