how many invitations?

how many invitations did you order for your wedding? i am trying to figure out what's average. i think i made about 50 for ours because i think we invited around 90 people.

by the way, i have been meaning to ask you how you did your return address on your response card envelopes and outer envelopes. it's pricey to get them printed where i buy envelopes so i wanted to suggest an alternative for my clients.

All by hand. I got a black permanent marker from Michaels for $2 and wrote all of them. I have decent handwriting though. If the boy wrote them they'd neither end up where they were going nor back to him.

gotcha! for mine i did printd response card envelopes and i did an embosser for the back flap. it's actually been nice because when i ordered the embosser i only used our first names and we still live at the same place so i still use it for our xmas cards and whatnot. it's been kind of a nice thing to have. so how'd you decide to have the responses go to him? i would definitely want them to go to me again! that was so much fun getting those...but i guess if he's never had that it was nice of you to let him get them.

I know we ended up inviting 308, but not sure how many actually invites that was. I think between 120 and 150 somewhere.

I think I must have ordered at least 100 maybe even 125. We invited about 220 and I still have a couple left over.

I think we ordered 50 of our printable invites/pockets (had to order in bunches of 25) and sent 35 or so - we invited 57 people had 52 at our wedding.

The max for our location was 125 people so I think I ordered 75 invites since like Bella we had to do them in 25 increments and invited about 120 folks.

I made 100 (because I like nice even numbers) and sent out 85-90 I think.  We invited about 220 and had just under 200 at our wedding.

100 or so.  Maybe a little more?  We invited a lot of people though!

I think I ordered 125 and used 115 or so.  Man, I can't believe it's been over 3 years since I worried about that stuff!
