SO SAD! T&Ps needed
I talked with my sister who lives in California yesterday and she told me the most awful story of what happened to her friends. Her friend who was 8.5 months pregnant, weeks away from her due date, tripped and fell on her stomach. They rushed her to the hospital and did an emergency c-section but their daughter died on impact and was a still born. Kari began bleeding out on the table and needed, I think, 2 blood and platelet transfusions. She made it through that but her kidneys are failing and she is still in critical condition. My heart breaks for this family, they have a 2 yr. old little girl at home and things are just very unstable right now. T&P for them would be much appreciated! Wow, how terrible. With this story and my co-worker whose baby died at about 8 months along, it seems like nobody's pregnancy goes well anymore!
