This was on another board, but I think it might be interesting. Where do you keep these items in your house?

ketchup, bread, peanut butter, butter/margarine

We have our ketchup and usually the bread in the fridge (lasts longer), peanut butter in a cabinet and leave the butter out on the counter in a dish. In the hot summer months, we'll move it to the fridge, too.

bread - Ezekial bread is in the freezer, all other bread is bought and eaten same day from our bakery around the corner.  German bread doesn't have preservatives and gets hard after a day.

We keep the ketchup and butter in the fridge. The bread and peanut butter we keep in the pantry but in the summer bread goes in the fridge.

bread - in the "bread" drawer of course

PB - cupboard.  I used to keep the natural PB in the fridge, but I'm experimenting with keeping it in the cupboard this jar

All of mine goes into the fridge. I bought some PB that has to be refrigerated this time. Some of the butter goes into a butter bell on the counter.

All go in the fridge. Our apartment gets pretty warm, so things spoil quickly (especially bread).

We usually buy ketchup BOGO, so one goes in the fridge and one goes in the pantry.

Bread sits on top of the microwave.

Peanut butter is in the pantry.
