So...Tom finally landed a new job (sorta)
YAY! He's an adjunct for a local college (has taught at UMass Lowell as well) and also an art director for a local company and has his own business... he's just been miserable being an art director and is pretty much burnt out from that and his business is just no longer thriving...probably thanks to the economy. Anyways, he had been searching and searching for quite sometimes and after many many promises and hoped for different jobs he interviewed for, he finally got a call out of the blue from another local college he had been trying to teach at for years - and they hired him! Not full time, but he doesn't care about that because he isn't a 9-5 kinda guy...he's just so much happier now that he's not totally stuck at his art director job anymore. I'd really like to see him go get his master's for teaching at the college level, because I know he'd be great at it but sadly we can't afford that right now...just thought I'd share my good news...well, his good news really...
