So the past two days Em's been in an awesome mood. And clearly her teachers have noticed. Today when one was putting her in the car she told me that she's been so awesome the past two days. I told her that she's been going to bed really early and sleeping all night in her room. It's made a world of difference. And then the teacher said something about how sometimes kids are just hungry and need food or something. And I was all yeah, blah blah. bye.
Fast forward to an hour or so ago and Em was laying her head on the sofa and I asked her what was wrong and she told me she was tired, when I asked why she said. "Because I didn't eat breakfast." NOT TRUE! She had yogurt and a fruit leather. I think she's telling her teachers that I don't feed her breakfast!!!!! She's really easily persuaded. Always has been. If she sees someone coughing on tv, she has a cough. If someone has a cut, she has a cut. I wonder if her teachers say, "You seem tired, did you eat breakfast today?" And then she's all, "No." Because she does this w/ Wes and I all the time too. What do I do? Do I ask her teachers when I drop her off tomorrow if she tells them that? I mean she eats breakfast everyday. CPS is gonna come ringing my doorbell. UGH. Kids ![]()
Re: Clearly, I'm winning.
Do you think it has to do with she thinks yogurt and fruit leather are snacks and things like eggs and cereal are breakfast foods?? maybe try in the morning asking her if she would like X for breakfast.
or she may just be trying to get more food at snack time at school if they have that still.
