PIP favorite part of your wedding gown
I know everyone probably loved their gown as a whole.. but was there just something about this one part of it that really sealed the deal? Maybe the way the beading sparkled on the bust, or the way the train ran long..
Let's see the part and tell me why!

The corset back was my favorite part. When I decided to have my dress made, I knew I wanted elbow length sleeves, knee length skirt, and a corset back. And I'm so glad no one talked me out of any of those!

I just loved the lace, I love the look of that texture (I will photograph random sh*t all day long just because I love the texture). and that the dress went so well with Scot's great-great-grandmothers Brooch.
I'm in a wedding mood, as this weekend as is our SIX MONTH anniversary.. which to me is absolutely worth celebrating!
Also, I've recently come across a photo that I hadn't seen since the middle of October since my photographer kept the proof to use in our album and I'm obsessed. I forgot how much I lovedddd the back of my gown and the way it shaped from my back down to my asss. My train was asymmetrical Catherdral length so it was siiiick. I loved the light beading on the back that just gave it enough sparkle but didn't take away from the corset. I absolutely love the back of my gown.
ETA: You guys gave me the green light to add another pic lol Coming down from my fav part is the train I mentioned above, with my Cathedral veil. Love it!
I loved it all but my fav features were probably the sweetheart neck and mostly the dipped back with buttons going down.

Getting fit for IVF!
I LOOOOVE this post...because other than my groom, my dress was my favorite thing about our wedding.
So I'm going to be a TOTAL AW here and post several pictures, even though you only asked for one
My favorite parts were my train and the bust - both gave it a bit of a modern and different look to me, which is exactly what I wanted. I wish I could wear my dress every day!!!

Love these!! I could look at a million pics of everyone's dresses.
Ashley - where the heck is your photo??!
Sadly, our photographer was an idiot, so she didn't get very good shots of my dress - or anything, for that matter. I love how the buttons cascade down the dress to the bottom.
Tpayne! im at work...trying to get fb to stop being a whore LOL hold yoru horses

lol the take out bag is our leftovers from dinner LOL i couldnt finish it....and the bustle's kinda fallen/been twirled out of place....cant find my good one from my alterations appointment LOL but you can see all my favorite parts
6 point double bustle to give my dress some detail....and the covered buttons....a must for whatever gown i got
Getting fit for IVF!
Yay! I also loved my dress!
I also loved the buttons and the beading in the back.
I don't want to do a s/o of myself, but did anyone else have a hair comb? or something to add a little wow to your hair?
I did. I bought this immediately after I ordered my gown. I saw it in a glass case at the shop, stuck it in my head and said I'll take it! My photographer took some really nice shots of it, but I only have this one right now.
LMAO! Why are you yelling at me? It was Kearstin! lmao

I loved the beading on my dress, and the brooch, which I do not have a good picture of on this comp.
I had a hair flower, which I made myself and loved

I did. Mine was a sort of DIY. I bought a feather hairpiece off Etsy and then thought it was a bit too plain so I found a lace brooch at Michaels and combined the two.
As for what I loved about my dress, I love the antique looking lace and the heavily beaded bodice. While shopping I knew I wanted a lace gown and I fell in love with the one that had a bit of sparkle too.
This is probably one of the best pictures to show off the lace skirt, since in all the other pictures it looks more subtle due to the lighting:
And the bodice up close:

more dress shots from our photographer
My crazy artist friend that I adore with all my heart told me at the reception that him and his friend were trying to guess what I was going to do with my short hair, knowing my off-beat style... he pretty much described my head piece exactly to his friend as his guess to what I'd do.
and here's a more candid shot, but the best shot I could find that you can see the whole head piece. It's connected to a thin headband that was tucked under my hair.
love these. I'm also really impressed with those of you that made your hair piece.
I've thought of shadow-boxing my comb and jewelry because it's so gorgeous I don't want to tuck it in a box and wait to have a daughter to show it to!
I loved the bead work on my dress:
I also loved how the front split to reveal a tulle section:

Karen! I had a peek too! I was also obsessed with this and I added so much tulle underneath and had her cut the dress back to get it to show even more. This is a little hard to see because of the lighting, but mine is huge compared to the way I bought it.
This is the stock gown.. very tiny peek lol
I loved how it hugged my curves! I chose mine because it had so few embellishments on it. My favourite part was its simplicity and shape. I was able to dress it up or down throughout the day. I made this lace jacket for the chapel.
Here's a good pic of my jacket:
RE: the hair piece convo above, I also made mine. It was made from dupioni silk (like my dress) alencon lace (like my jacket) and tulle.
I love this post!
So, my favorite part of my dress was the bead work and the ribbons that hung down the back.
I loved the folds of satin that created a "striped" pattern on my dress, it made it distinctive.
I wore a fake flower clipped in my hair, nothing special, I got it at Claires and sometimes now I pin it on a sweater and wear it to work as an accesory. Sorry pic is sideways.
One of the favorite things I loved about my dress was the train. It was originally plain which I did not prefer. There were matching long sleeves with the same beading as the dress so we purchased those and had them put on the train. Hopefully you can semi-see them in this picture.
One of my other favorite things was the beading, neckline and cap sleeves.
And for my hair I purchased a tiara because DH calls me his queen. I felt it only fitting
)
(Ignore the beer can) I don't have any good pictures of my dress from the photographer, so these are just ones other people took.
My favorite part of the dress was where it gathered in the front and the chiffon split open; I also loved all the bead work on the bust..
My second favorite aspect of my dress was the see through cap sleeves with beading.
