As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Ball Jars Update
So I still couldn't find the 1/2 gallon size in store so I found them on Ace Hardware's website and had them shipped to store for free (I hate paying shipping..cheap cheap 
) I now want to buy more! I am using them for anything and everything that I can (sugars, flours, nuts, dried fruits, lentils etc.) Here's a pic of what I have so far. I didn't take a before pic, I should have! This cupboard is holding SO much more than it did before!

That is AWESOME!! I have a ton of jars that would work so well for that. What a brilliant idea!
a week or so ago they had chalk board clings in little circle shapes on one of the deal of the day sites, that you can slap on the side of your jars. At the time I didn't see a need for them but that would be kind of cool.
I've also labeled my flour etc holders with dry erase marker. lol!
