Sorry - I'm incredibly frustrated by a few things at the moment and I want to scream and take a baseball bat to something . . . but I can't. Not because I am mad and want to hurt/cause damage to anything, but just frustrated/stressed and need the cathartic release of hitting something REALLY hard - over and over.

I'm not a violent person and have never hit anyone/thing, but for some reason, swinging a baseball bat at something sounds really appealing!

Anyone else feel like that and just want to get on the first place to "anywhere but here" and not tell anyone? Just leave it all behind and say "eff that/them"?????

  • Yes. That's how our bathrooms get really clean and how house projects start.

I got frustrated with DH last weekend (said he wanted to start a project at home and didn't even lift a finger last weekend) and so I took a crow bar to a closet that I want ripped out. It was fun.

  • i just sent you an email to your hotmail. but to answer your question, yes. oh yes. i feel like that a couple times a year.

i hope whatever this is passes soon. that's not a good place to be in.

  • Yes, this morning actually.

For the past 5 months, I've been working with an elderly man to bring his family here from another country.  The embassy is completely ignoring the law and they refuse to respond to me or the Sentator's office.  I took it to the next level last month and finally got a response this morning.  The head of the embassy essentially said they normally don't follow the law on this particular issue but they will this time.  WTF????  To make matters worse, this is an unstable country where half the family has been tortured. So yeah, I could hit something.
