Questions for you ladies if you have a minute...
We are trying to expand our birthday business at the farm...Currently we just do them during the fall hayrides. They come and go out before the general public and just pay the regular fee. They have a couple of picnic tables reserved for them but that is basically the extent of it...
So we are looking to expand on that and try to expand it to other seasons as well...My boss was thinking we could do things during strawberry and blueberry seasons as well...
Any ideas? And if you were having you kids party or going to a kids party on a farm what might you want to see/have the kids do, etc.?
THANKS SO MUCH!
Re: Questions for you ladies if you have a minute...
We went to a party at our local orchard in September. They let all the kids pick a pumpkin (a small one of course) and set up a decorating station. That was a blast! They also offered cider (warm or cold) for all the kids along with cider donuts. They did the hay ride, and there were characters all along the way. Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty (the kids had to wake her up), Robin Hood, etc. It was seriously the best party I've ever been to.
If you did a summer one, you could have the kids make strawberry/blueberry shortcake with the berries they just picked.
an activity for the spring months..they could get those clay pots and have the kids plant a flower in them after they decorate them.
I was thinking little strawberry shortcakes for that season.
