One night getaway ideas?

Dh and I really want/need some time away. We're thinking of just one night, doing something fun and cheap. I'd love to go to Temecula and go wine tasting, have dinner, and stay the night. I looked at hotels there, in San Diego and in the Laguna area for sometime next month. There isn't much in Temecula and it's looking more expensive than the Laguna area, what the heck??

 So, any other ideas?

Re: One night getaway ideas?

  • The mountains? H and I got married at The Lake Arrowhead Resort and the hotel there is beautiful!
  • Little late, but yeah in temecula it pretty much just is the wineries. You could look around old town, but unless you are antiques and such there might not be a whole lot to interest you. Although it probably would be a awesome place to find some cool photography props :)

Dont forget to check the living social escape websites, a mth ago I saw a deal for two nights in newport beach with a kayaking rental and dinner at the resort restaurant, all for like $160
