Eco-chic?

Hi all,

I need your input on something fashion-related.... my aunt has offered to buy me a new spring handbag for the season and I can't decide on one! I never buy new stuff unless I need it, so it's weird to be looking for a bag when I have one I like now.

Do I go the traditional designer route (not leather though, ick) or do I go with one I like on Etsy (even though I could buy one of these myself)?

Do you have any favorite earth-friendly designers? Hmm

Re: Eco-chic?

  • I don't know about designers.  Is there something else in this category that you would get more use out of, like a wallet or clutch?

  • I've never owned any of her stuff, but Stella McCartney is supposed to be aneco-friendly designer and she has some gorgeous handbags on the website. I'm sure finding a recycled bag like from a consignment shop or thrift store would be more green than buying new, but if you wanted to go that route, her stuff is supposed to be eco-friendly.
