XP: Pajama question for moms of LOs

DD is 8 months old, and I'm wondering what to do about summer PJs as we approach the need to move in to 9-12 month clothing. I love the long-sleeve sleepers with the footies, but I'm not sure if those will be too hot for the summer? We usually put Elle in a sleeper and a sleepsack.  We keep the AC at a pretty consistent 68-72 degrees and have a fan on in DD's room, so I figure really, the PJs we've been using during "winter" could be the same as the ones we use for the next few months, but I wasn't sure if anyone had other opinions. (Mommy brain sometimes gets in the way of my rational thinking. :)) TIA!

  • Carter's sells some sleepers with shorts which is what we used for Macy last year.  We will use them again this year.  They were great!

Although sometimes I just put her to bed in her diaper (if it's warm enough).  He room is the hottest room in the house and she never has woken up with cold hands or feet.  And it also makes for less laundry too :)

  • I was wondering the same thing while "clearance" shopping at Beall's the other day (they are giving an extra 40% off clearance to anyone who is interested in checking it out, I got several sleepers & rompers for $3 & $4) . We also keep our a/c b/t 68-72, so I figured the long sleeve footed sleepers should still be fine in the summer.

  • I still put Alana in the Carters jammies. We also have several pairs of pants and short sleeve shirt sets as well.

  • In the summer I put DS in shorts or pants separates pjs and DD wears the same or night gowns.  I don't keep my house as cold as you do though, our thermostat is usually set to 76, so that might make a difference.

You're a brave lady! The last time I put DS in his diaper for a nap he took it off and peed everywhere!

This is us, too. We keep our thermostat between 76-77. I got DD a bunch of pj sets from Target; they're cotton shorts and short sleeved shirts. She also uses a sleep sack.
