I need help with how to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday. Background: We're very close, the rest of our immediate family is not so close, she's single and not too thrilled about turning 30.
A few of her friends have called me to see what I am planning and I'm just completely at a loss for ideas. I don't think she wants a huge party to recognize that she's 30 (she's a little sensitive about being single still). She just threw me an amazing baby shower this past summer, and I really want to do something special for her. I thought about maybe organizing a day trip somewhere with some of her close friends. I thought of NYC (we live and hour and a half away), Philly (an hour), a spa somewhere, but reconsidered travelling because I think it will be too expensive for me and it's a lot to ask of her friends to spend? Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
Re: Sister's 30th Birthday! Help!!
I see you are in Breinigsville... how about you all get a room at the Bethlehem Sands casino for a night. Have dinner, go to the casino, go to the lounge and have a nice breakfast and head home. its about 30 minutes from you.
If you think its too much to ask her friends to chip in for all that you can treat for the room and then beyond that they are on their own.
