Abby WAS going to go to DC, but now is home with me. A lovely day it shall be. It started with cereal and milk dumped on her head.
Today: Staying sane. maybe lunch with a friend if we can get out.
Tomorrow: swim (?), 1st birthday party, volunteering at a soup kitchen (our first group involvement with our church!)
Sunday: church, GTG, trip to Levinsky's for jeans!!! (the 515's that are my faves are only $6!!!), picking up Two Fat Cats cupcakes, family birthday for my Mom and brother's gf who share the same birthday. :-)
huh, I don't see nap anywhere in there....
Ugh, I am not happy about this snow! I really wanted to take a walk with the kids today (mostly to go get coffee, which I haven't had ALL WEEK), and I wanted to go grocery shopping, but nope, walking would be gross and I think it's only right that I give MH the car to get to work so he doesn't have to wait for the bus in this mess and we'll just park it in the house today. I am fully prepared to be losing my mind by noon. (I suppose I could drive MH to work, but that involves packing up two kids in the car by 9:30...and inevitably that is when Ellie will need to eat and Owen will have pooped.) Wah wah wah.
This weekend my folks are driving up and staying with us. (Hooray!!!) Saturday night MH and I are having a date to eat the sushi my body has been wanting for the last 10 months; my folks will watch the kids. Sunday is a joint birthday party for my niece and nephew at a place full of jumping structures -- should be fun.
My folks pull out on Monday and my FIL/SMIL arrive that evening and stay through Friday.
I am awaiting our AAA hotel rating.
Today: trying to get my remote connection to work properly so I can get some work done. Grrr. Acupuncture in the afternoon and I'm on my own this evening!
Tomorrow: Go to Target and do year-end calculations for our budget in the morning. Go to the cherry blossom and kite festivals in the afternoon! Probably hang out at home in the evening.
Sunday: Breakfast with friends. Do a trial run of cherry blossom cupcakes for a baby shower in a couple of weeks. Laze about as I should be caught up on errands, cleaning, and laundry!
I'm at work-- the drive was pretty awful. I didn't take the time to clean off my car and the snow ended up piling on my windshield and stopping my wipers on the highway... minor panic. I never not clean off my car... I was just in a bad mood.
Tomorrow- DH is watching Final 4 basketball but before that, I'm dragging him to Buy Buy Baby.
Sunday- depending on the weather, taking the dog to the beach. Nothing huge going on this weekend.
Today: Finishing as much of the Yearbook that my moronic staff didn't finish this year as I possibly can. Of course, that will be while watching Law & Order CI and snuggling with my "son". I think my sister is coming over tonight to eat chinese, drink multiple bottles of wines, watch 127 hours, and play Lego Batman. I'm sensing an epic Friday night in the works.
Tomorrow: There was a chance that I'd be babysitting an 8 week old, but I think her Aunt is taking her instead (POUT!). So I'll likely be spending it with my sister, getting my taxes done (UGH!), and cleaning the house.
Sunday: The GTG (WOOT!) and shopping. I want a new purse and need beach worthy clothes for our vacation in two weeks. Plus there are some things I need for my classroom. So I'll be spending the day out and about.
Add the gym (or Wii/stationary bike time today) to each day and tanning on Saturday and Sunday (don't want to burn in two weeks!).
I'm so mad...I don't want snow! Last year, this weekend was a beautiful weekend!
Today: We both took the day off so we are taking Taylor to DC and then Husband and I are off to breakfast, get groceries and clean the house. oh, and cook tons
Tomorrow: decorate for a first birthday party and celebrate Taylor's first birthday! OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE IS 1!!
Sunday: Relaxing! Maybe going into the office for my overtime.
Monday: back to work, but it's my first day working from home!! yeah! I hope this goes well
Today- Working and trying not to crash my car while driving home in the snow later. Also trying not to get sick. My coworker is here coughing, sneezing and blowing her nose all over the place. Plus she just borrowed my white out...which I will now have to disenfect later. ick.
Tomorrow- Clean the house and do the grocery list in the morning. Then volunteering at the animal shelter if they need me. Maybe go for a snowshoe later in the day with dh and the dog. Other than that, just hang out and do some things around the house.
Sunday- Not much. Some cooking and relaxing. Probably taking the dog for a walk or maybe the dog park. Also, might try to find a Sea Salt and Caramel cupcake recipe and make those, since I'm still salivating from KClouts' post about them from the other day!!
Man, wish I had the day off! We got a fair amount of snow last night, but it has all melted now, so it's just rainy and gross. Ugh.
Today/Tonight: DH has the day off, and I'm extremely jealous! Working the usual hours, then home to fold out the couch, snuggle up to Kyle and kitten, eat lots of chowder and biscuits and watch movies. Campout in the living room night!
Tomorrow: The weather is supposed to turn, so I'm hoping we'll be able to get out and get some fresh air. Keeping our fingers crossed that we'll be able to pack up a lunch, hit the Cliff Walk, tool around town and have a lil picnic somewhere along the way. Probably a quiet evening, thinking about making Shrimp & Grits since I've had a craving.
Sunday: Heading up to Boston to meet some friends for a lazy brunch @ their place and relax. Back home at some point in the late afternoon to relax and get ready for the week.

Ugh! This is NOT like last years 4/1! It was beautiful that day. Now that I can enjoy it it sucks. But, I'm thankful. OK....
Today - in between my lights flickering I'm making my final batch of homemade ice cream. Today it's choc. Later on I'm baking the duck cake lol Wrapping presents and getting my game plan on.
Tomorrow - Decorate the Duck, bake cupcakes. Make lots of food and clean clean clean!
Sunday - Caroline's First Birthday party!! Wow, what a year! Decorate cupcakes, decorate the house and celebrate with my little lady
Monday - DH took the day off so we can celebrate Caroline's First Birthday as a family. We're going out to lunch and not sure what else. We are just so thankful that we got to see the rainbow after a crazy start.
I was thinking of taking Copper to the Wtvl dog park Sunday too, maybe we will see you there!
And you could always make some of those cupcakes before and bring some Hehe just kidding.
That would be awesome if we saw you there! My dog will be the scrawny black Lab mix who is playing awesomely with the dogs, but barking like a lunatic at the humans.

Tomorrow-I may go into work for a couple hours
Then DH just bought another motorcycle so we are going to get that then maybe going out to dinner with some other friends(We never go out to dinner this much!)
Sunday will be a day to spend with the dog so I was thinking the dog park then we have dinner at my dad and step-moms that night.
Trying to relax a bit in between all that because my hardest and last semester of school starts next week-I am going to hate taking three classes
Today: NOT. IMPRESSED. The commute was special - I was sooooo tempted to take a personal day. I'm so over snow! Not sure what we're doing tonight. It seems like a good night for cooking at home and snuggling.
Tomorrow: Probably a short run, possibly going over to a music festival at my old high school, and general housekeeping.
Sunday: Long run. Not sure if I'm going to up my mileage this weekend or do another 10 miler. This was a VERY low mileage week so I think another 8 to 10 miles this weekend will be smarter than pushing for 11. I've got time ... sorta!
At some point I'm sure I'll be chilling with M and the little dude. We had so much fun last weekend! The little dude was just in awe at Maple Sunday - the animals, the ice cream, the crowds - he was so happy and excited about everything. After visiting a couple of sugar houses and taking a break for lunch we went to get my new phone and the whole time we were at Best Buy, the little dude just wanted me to hold him. So I was trucking around Best Buy with a 2 yr old on my hip - good times. That little guy has found quite the cozy spot in my heart already!
Snow day today! Yay!
Today: Chillaxin with Ridley for the time being. She is going down for a nap soon and while she is napping, I will get some work done from home. When DH gets home from work at 3pm, we will all go out to play in the snow. Then, after dinner, we are going to eat popcorn and watch Tangled. I also need to fit a strength training routine in there somewhere.
Tomorrow: Gymnastics for Ridley in the morning. Since I can't get to the gym today, I will need to make that up sometime on Saturday. Then we need to hit the grocery store and I have some personal assistant work to do for my sister.
Sunday: GTG for lunch and then I want to head to Mr. Bagel in Scarborough. I have a 50/50 GC and we have no good bagels in L-A. I miss NY bagels. We have also been taking our plastic recycling to the bins in Portland near Trader Joe's because we have VERY limited plastics recycling in L-A so I may do that and also make a stop at Trader Joe's.
Today: I'm sick. I just got up at 11. Im sore, stuffy and cranky.
That's all I got. I'm just trying to stay awake for a little bit so that I don't use up all my sleep today and toss and turn all night.

At least daycare wasn't cancelled...?
It was not cancelled but DH's work is shutdown, so we kept James home since it didn't make sense to go out in the snow twice when he was home to watch him. If DH had gone into work, I totally would have brushed my teeth, put on a hat and yoga pants, and drove downtown to cram my little angel through the mailslot!

Today - working. DH is home with a snow day, probably doing absolutely nothing, as usual. My boss did just tell us to close early - 4pm instead of 4:30... I'm the only Legal Assistant who stays past 4 anyway, so I'm the only one who benefits.
Saturday - getting baby's room ready!!! DH and I are done painting, and the carpet is shampooed. We need to start getting the little man's stuff out of the living room (although once he arrives, it will most likely come back down, since that's where we spend 90% of our time). We don't have his crib yet to put in there, but we'll get the rest of the room set up, and hopefully figure out a decent furniture arrangement.
Sunday - GTG! Looking forward to meeting a bunch of you! I'm also excited about the relief I'll feel when I've got more necessities in hand for the munchkin. I'm also planning a stop in at my parent's house to pick up one of the two gliders they've told me I can have. One will go in the newly rearranged baby's room, while the other will eventually go into the space in the living room currently occupied with all of LO's "stuff."
At some point, I'll need to get baby laundry going. At yesterday's appointment, they told me they wouldn't stop or slow my labor if I started at this point, so it's all becoming more real.

Snow day! We are both home. Direct TV is out so we are listening to the radio and dancing around our house.
No plans really for the weekend. We'll play it by ear
TODAY/TONIGHT: I hate this snow!! I really wanted to get out today, I have a bunch of things to do for Peter's party. Going insane in this house with the boys. Peter just went down for a nap but of course Jack is now up!!
TOMORROW: Peter's birthday party!! We're having it a Peekaboo because we didn't trust the weather, thank god we did that! Last year people got sunburned at his party because it was so nice! We'll spend the afternoon with my sisters & kids who are coming into town for the party.
SUNDAY: Peter's 2nd birthday!!! Quietly sobbing as I think about how fast two years with him has gone by. Going to JCA brunch to see Rick Charrette play in the morning. Enjoy a nice family day
Today: Snow day here too! It was DH's regularly scheduled day off, so we are all home together. Which should be great, but DH has been sick with the "man cold" for the past week and being SO dramatic and grouchy about it. Eli and I have both had variations of it too, but his seems worse. At my insistence he just went to the walk in clinic and found out he has a sinus infection. Hallelujah! Hopefully the medicine kicks in quick. Eli and I went out to play in the snow for a bit and now he's napping. I just did a short run on the treadmill and have no other plans for the day. DH will have to go out snowblowing for his customers, so I foresee a night of wine, snacks and reality tv for me...ahh.
Tomorrow: No plans. Hopefully a fun family outing. Maybe going to a Children's Musuem or Trader Joes or something else.
Sunday: Running a 5 mile race with DH (insert more whining from him here!) With us both getting over being sick our goal will just be to finish! There is a brunch afterward that we will probably go to and then just hanging out for the rest of the day.

So I guess I should post my actually reply...
Today- not really impressed with the snow. We lost power for an hour or so but it's back on now. I work from home so I'm spared the trouble of driving in this mess.
Weekend...we have no plans. Zero..zilch If I had to guess, I'd say this will be a weekend of puttering around the house because we spent most of last Saturday out and about. Our upcoming move has me in spring cleaning mode so it could be a very productive weekend. I'd also like to make a new photo album of baby pictures for my mother-in-law.
