So Logan's first bday party is coming up and since its from 11-1 we have to serve lunch but I am totally stumped as to what to serve. There will be a mix of kids (1yr-5yrs) and adults. I was thinking of doing a crock pot pulled pork for the adults but am stuck when it comes to the kids. I was thinking of doing these for the kids. Our location is 2 blocks from our house and we have access to a kitchen where we are having the party so I can cook things there as well.
I need ideas please!!!!!!!!!

All kids love chicken nuggets...cheap and easy too. I still get excited when I have chicken nuggets lol.
Octopus Hotdogs.... my brother LOVED these as a kid, actually, I've never seen a kid not love these: http://www.food.com/recipe/octopus-hot-dogs-78834
That is the silliest, cutest thing I've seen in a while! I love it!
I would also echo the suggestions of pigs in a blanket and chicken nuggets, although the recipe you posted doesn't look bad either. I would just be hesitant to do something so taste specific (BBQ), since so many kids are picky eaters (I'm from Texas and hated BBQ until just a few years ago).

I love Ana's suggestion! Those are so cute! And like PP said mini pigs in the blanket or chicken nuggets would be good. Or fish sticks maybe. I always loved those!
Those octopus hot dogs are awesome! Another good option is mac & cheese (though I may be biased, because I lurve mac & cheese).
Seriously, all of this. That octopus is the freaking cutest food ever. I was also going to mention mac-n-cheese. Which I just ate, H made it from scratch (Alton Brown). Nom Nom Nom Nom.
Maybe little slider-style sandwiches? Almost like a deli platter, but a bit more kid oriented? Or mac-n-cheese pizza?
