Here's what I can tell you. I will be calling her C from now on, and I wont be able to post pictures of her face until she's legally ours all the way.
Her mom is in jail for severe abuse of her, and will be there for a long time. It is very unlikely she will be returning to mom. Termination of Parental Rights paperwork was filed today. With mom in jail this means within 6months she could be legally ours. I'm not getting set on that as so much can happen, but who knows.
So change of plan, this weekend we get the house ready for a 6 year old K5er. We get to meet her next week early on.
Anyone know what I'll need for a 6 year old?

ETA: when my daughters were that age, they loved dolls and stuffed animals, and books. They made up dances and rode their bicycles a lot.
What about some coloring/painting stuff and some board games like Candyland that you can play with her? And books. Will you find out her favorite color beforehand?
