in florida, we had 2 different friends that would let us puppysit when they were out of town (one was a 3 lb yorkie and the other a long haired dauschund). we LOVE small doggies, but frankly arent home enough to get one ourselves...
anywho, our friends down the road have a cuuute corgie and they asked yesterday if we'll take care of her next week!! we're so excited. while we are both gone long hours during the day, for just a week im sure dh can ride his bike home during lunch to check on her, etc...

Our Blog!

how fun! corgis are soo cute! i love their teeny tiny legs.
I agree. your friends are very lucky to have you! we don't have anyone we'd trust w/ murphy. our ILs feed their dogs anything off the table and our neighbors are super disciplined (and even abusive, I'd say) to their dog.
we'll always bring him w/ us or if absolutely necessary (like our jamaica trip) will have him boarded in a place we'll know he'll be placed with and loved on.
Have fun playing with the puppy!
We are like Lauren we take Maggie everywhere we can. It seems to be much easier on her if she can go with us.
The few times we have to leave her normally MIL keeps her. She has the run of MIL house. MIL has 2 other dogs and they let Mags do whatever she wants to do to them. It is actually really cute.
