Nashville ladies come in!

Hi Ladies!  I'm looking for some suggestions on places to visit/eat next weekend (April 9-10).  I will be spending Saturday and Saturday night in Nashville with my H & kiddos, so kid friendly is also important.  We've never been to your area but we are so excited...only wish we could stay longer than 24 hours!

  • The zoo is pretty good.

  • Adventure Science Center is awesome. It has a huge climber, lots of kid-friendly hands-on exhibits, and some awesome space stuff and a planetarium. :)

Don't know how old your kids are. If they're 9 or 10ish and into the Percy Jackson books/ Greek mythology, Centennial Park has the Parthenon which is quite neat. (It's in the Percy Jackson movie.) It also has a giant train and lots of places to lounge and play frisbee or fly kites.

There's a lot of neat breakfast places (usually breakfast is served all day). I love the Pfunky Griddle, where there's a griddle in the middle of the table and you pour and flip your own pancakes and add lots of awesome toppings. Fido is delicious as well, and Pancake Pantry is fun too.
