fences

not sure if this is the correct place to be asking, but i figured it had something to do with landscaping.  My hubby and I are looking into getting a white PVC fence.  We are uncertain with all the companies that are on the market and all the different fences.  Could anyone give me any helpful cues or tips to pick the best ones?  Thanks.  All input is appreciated.

Choose the best construction. It should be very sturdy at stress points.

The problem I see most frequently with PVC fence panels is that they twist, bend, and warp, and the hardware connecting the panels can't withstand the force. The plastic breaks at the attachments.

I agree.  We DIYed a large fence two years ago and originally bought some 6' PVC fence panels that were on clearance at a big box hardware store.  When we opened up the package at home we saw how flimsy they were (hollow inside) and heard some horror stories from a friend who's fence split in half from a small tree branch falling on it.  I can see how easily would break at connection points!  We took them back immediately and decided to go with some nice composite fence boards instead.  We're so glad we did!  It's held up wonderfully and doesn't need to be stained like a wood fence.
