Ummm Please tell me I'm over reacting...

Okay, I'm sure most of you remember that Josh was a clomid baby and it took a bit to get pg with him...my doctor told us there was a  99% chance that we would need the drugs again...I have NEVER been regualr in my life and have PCOS so there are many things to battle with...

I got a monthly visit sometime this month (at the beginning) and DH and I had some "fun" as well...Here we are about 2 weeks post "fun" and I am incredibly crampy, have in incredible upset tummy (ie - feel like I'm going to vomit), sore ta-ta's, and tired...

My guess is that I'm thinking all of these symptoms in my head and that is why I have them...While I would be excited to see a BFP I'm not sure DH would be...We weren't trying (we weren't being careful either) and he isn't ready for #2 yet...I'm not sure when or if I o'd, the only thing I know for certain is the day we had "fun"...

I guess my question is when should I POAS?  I have one in my office that I bought last week when I had a "feeling" but knew it was probably too soon to test...and as always since this is a very "private" matter nothing on FB (advice or otherwise)...

If I am PG who wants to tell DH for me :) he might take it better coming from someone else...

  • When in doubt, POAS!  That is what I would do. Then make sure you report back please :)

As far as  DH, he may not be happy at first but I'm sure the idea will grow on him.  You both had "fun" so it's not like he didn't know the possibility.  Good luck!

  • I would POAS. Heck, you already have one. So just go ahead and either set your mind at ease or give your DH more time to get used to the idea.

  • You're overreacting.  There.  Wink

Although it might be too early to tell, I'd POAS now for peace of mind. Edit: your period was in March?  POAS NOW!!!  Do it!!!

If you still feel these symptoms in a week or so, POAS again.  Get a couple cheap tests from the Dollar Store.

We'll all come over to tell YH with you.  Maybe we could even get a flash mob to help share the news.  Surprise

  • Well I couldn't wait any longer and POAS and thank goodness it was negative...if I still feel the symptoms again later in the week I'll test again...

  • If it makes you feel better, my symptoms all 3 times have been a total and complete lack of symptoms. No sore ta ta's, no cramping, nadda. That's usually how I know.

Does get you thinking though Wink

I was the same way with Josh...I had ZERO symptoms so afte having all these "issues" I was pretty sure it would be negative but was scared Sh!tless it might not be...
