Where did you meet: We "fixed" ourselves up so our mutal friends would stop bugging us to meet. 2 weeks later he left for Iraq so we got to really know eachother by email and letter.
What was your first date: Went hiking in Cheyenne Canyon.
Who said I love you first: honestly can't remember
How long did you date before getting engaged: 4 years
How did he propose: he had the ring already-- I knew he had it and even knew exactly where it was... he'd even had me try it on. But then was like "good to know" and put it away. Made me wait 5 months till the first day of my winter break from teaching. He woke me up early, made me breakfast, then gave me the ring and said "I think it's time for you to start wearing this."

Who said I love you first: He did. But I said it right back, because it was true. (This was after 2 weeks of dating, BTW)

How did he propose: We went camping and we hiked to a scenic overlook. While I was sitting down looking at the map he knelt down. When I saw him there I said "you've got to be kidding me". He said a bunch of hearfelt things, then asked, and I said yes.
