Miami nestie headed to Chicago..What to pack?
Hello Ladies,
I am headed to chicago mid-April for a littel get-away with my husband and need tips on what to pack. In Miami it is currently in the upper 80's and 90's so you can imagine how were dressing these days.
Do you think short sleeve tops with jackets and cardigans is sufficient or do I need coats, scarves etc?
Re: Miami nestie headed to Chicago..What to pack?
I lived in Phoenix for a few years and remember thinking people were crazy for being cold. You will definitely need a coat. We're still wearing coats, and we think it's warm this week at 40. You will be freezing even if we think it's warm and going coatless.
Bring a scarf and a light scarf, light gloves. You might not need either - but better safe than sorry. You shouldn't need a hat or boots or anything.
Our weather is so unpredictable it's hard to say what you'll need in two weeks. Check the weather reports, but if it's below 70, bring a coat or jacket of some sort. Especially if you'll be in the city and walking around.

So a maxi dress is out of the question huh?
I guess I will be packing a lot of jeans, flats scarves and long sleeve t'shirts.
Thanks for the heads up!

You may get lucky and be able to pull the maxi dress w/a jean jacket or something.
