San Francisco to Napa?
My Dh and I are headed to San Francisco for 3 days (get in early Saterday and leave mid Monday afternoon) and wanted to try a few vineyards in Napa. We originally wanted to stay a night in St. Helena (or somewhere in Napa) but everywhere I looked was either booked or required a 2 night stay.
Does anyone have recommendations of how to get to Napa for a day trip? Hire a car service maybe?
Or does anyone know of a hotel or inn that allows one night stays?

I would suggest looking at the Dry Creek/Russian River area. It is beautiful, has amazing wineries and best of all isn't crazily touristed like Napa tends to be. Most wineries have a 5 dollar tasting fee waived if you buy a wine, whereas most of Napa has a 30+ tasting fee that you will not get back.
Healdsburg is the closest town, and has some nice bed and breakfasts and hotels. Definitely check it out.
I don't know much about hotels up there but friends of ours once stayed at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel and Spa. We met them up there and checked out the room/lobby - it looked really nice and I don't think they'd insist on a two night stay. I'm just not sure what your budget is or whether you want a hotel or more of a B&B/inn feeling.
Also, there are plenty of car services that would take you from the city to Napa. Lots of tourists (and some locals) do this so that they can drink without worrying about driving. You can do an individual car or some kind of tour bus.
