Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

how to nest from your ipad

what browser do you use to nest from your ipad?

I've used terra and safari and I can't reply to messages in either browser. I can type in the subject line, but when I try to click inside the message box my keyboard disappears and I can't reply.

I really don't want to pay for an app to Nest, so I'd really appreciate free suggestions.

Help! Thank you!

Re: how to nest from your ipad

  • you have to go into settings and turn off java script.  It's a pain because most sites need it so you have to keep turning it on and off.  That's the only thing that I've found that works ... if someone knows of something else I'd love to try it!

  • I use Atomic Web Broswer as my browser of choice, so I leave JavaScript turned off in Safari and use Safari only for Nesting.

  • Another option is that within the compose window, click the "html" which goes to a plain window. You can type up your message there and then on the bottom left (its really hard to see) there is a submit button. This is easier than turning off javascript i think.
