I haven't used this app, but I agree with Jamie that I wouldn't rely on anything like it as a form of birth control, since it can't predict your cycles well unless they are super regular. (Mine are crazy irregular - I ovulate anywhere from CD 10 to 17, so something like that wouldn't even help predict my periods for me.) But even if you normally have very regular cycles, things like stress, changes in sleep patterns, etc., can throw you off and change your ovulation date, luteal phase, etc.
