Certified Marriage License

Can anyone tell me how long it took to get their certified marriage license from Maricopa county?  I want to do all my name change paperwork before booking travel (soon!) and I'm getting nervous that I haven't received it yet.  I thought it would only take two weeks.

umm mine came rigth around 2 - 2-1/2 weeks.  It didn't take long for me at all. HTH

I was married on 12-22 and didn't get mine until almost February!! I was told the holidays were the cause of the delay though.

I ended up going down and getting my own certified copy before they mailed me one.  I called and they looked it up and said I could come down and get a copy if I needed it right away, so I did.  Maybe 2 weeks after that I got my copy in the mail, so maybe 4 weeks total?

About 2 weeks.  I changed my name in January and still haven't received my new s.s. card.....I heard that can take a while though.....

Hrm, do you have to have the certified copy to change SS cards?  For some reason I was thinking I could do it with the half that we have.

When we went in to get the marriage license (pre-wedding) they said that I had to wait for the mailed copy to do my name change, but when I went to SS they used the half that we signed at the wedding.  I wish I would have known that a month ago!
