Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Poor Niece :( - Updated!
So last week my 5 year-old niece had a rash pop up on her legs. Ex-SIL, with her stellar parenting skills, just assumed that she'd gotten into something & essentially ignored it 
Next day, it got a little worse, so my brother took her to the doctor. Doctor said benedryl, but bring her back in the next day for a check-up.
Brother takes her back. Rash looked about the same, so Doctor said keep up the benedryl til it clears up. My brother dropped my niece off at Ex-SIL's & headed off for vacation.
Apparently over the weekend, while my brother was in Puerto Rico, the rash got worse & Ex-SIL had to take my niece to Wolfson where they spent the night. She didn't bother to tell anyone either. 
Bad news... it looks like she may have Lupus. My mom has Lupus, so we've known this would be a possibility, but it usually doesn't appear this early. I'm just hoping whatever it is clears up soon. This just has not been her year.... Parents divorce & now this. Poor kid. 
Update - Turns out she has Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Not sure how that is going to affect her, but we'll see!

She's always been a lazy parent, but none of us knew the extent until after they split & my brother wasn't there 24/7 to pick up her slack.
Thanks, y'all. We're hoping it's not that serious. She's actually staying with us this weekend so I'm trying to think of fun but not too taxing things to do. I'll probably rent Tangled at one point.
