AZ shoe of choice, haha

Where do you ladies find comfy, everyday flip flops here??  Since you can wear them almost yr-round, you'd think you could find real comfy ones all over, but I haven't been able to find any I like.  I either find the really cheap ones that hurt your feet or those hideous & expensive "fit-flops"/"shapeups" ones.  Sorry if anyone likes those, but I just can't stand them.

Re: AZ shoe of choice, haha

  • I buy mine at Target. I don't buy the rubbery ones though.

I just bought these which I love! And these and they're both less than $15!

  • I have a pair of Nike ones (that I got when I worked at ASU) other than that I wear my Birks (that look kind of like flip flops, linky) they also have a new pair that looks more like flip flops (linky)

  • I second Reefs!  I admit to owning more than one pair Big Smile  Guess also makes some really good wedge flip flops that are comfy and don't end up killing you by the end of the day.  I can't wear old navy but I know many people that do.

If only I were shorter, haha.  I don't like to wear a lot of wedges or heels cuz I already feel taller than a lot & Mark's only like 3-4" taller than me.  I'll have to check out Ross though.

  • Good to know about the Reefs!  I saw a cute pair today, but wasn't sure about them.  Anybody try those Havianas?  They're supposed to be real comfy & seem to be from trying them on.

Lol, yeah I can't do those ON $2 things either...or any other stores' cheapo rubbers for that matter.

<3 rainbows!  They are a bit pricey but well worth it!  Plus they have a limited lifetime warranty!  Only downfall is they absolutely suck to break in!

If you ever head out to CA stop by the Rainbow outlet store in San Clemente.  They have every size and style for around $20 cheaper than retail.

  • Is there a local store that sells Rainbows? I've been dying for a pair for years but their sizing is kinda weird online and I'm nervous to buy them without trying on first.
  • My fav brand for flip flops are "Havaina." They are so comfy, cute and come in every color under the sun. I have mostly seen them @ places like Gap, Ann Taylor Loft..etc. They never hurt or irritate my feet and the stay in good shape for awhile : ) I own like 10 pairsEmbarrassed

  • There's a few stores in the malls that sell Rainbows, Tilly's, Journeys, and maybe PacSun. I used to work at Tilly's and I know during the summer months they usually have a lot of variety of them as far as colors and sizes.

  • These are by far the most comfortable flip flops I have ever worn. They are crocs, but don't look like the original. They also come in cute colors. Best part...you don't need to break them in. I bought a couple pairs for a trip to NYC and never wroe them until I pulled them out of my suitcase there. Never got 1 blister and my feet were so comfortable walking everywhere. I've turned a lot of my friends on to them. They have a "store" in the middle on Chandler Mall that has tons of colors, but I know that places like Finish Line sell them too...just more limited selection.

I wear both and bought then from Nordstrom Rack in Chandler. They have the best shoe dept with just about every shoe possible.

I just bought my first pair of Havianas from there and they are super comfortable for just kick on and run around.

  • I like to go to Tilly's. Every year I get their black suede-like "Full Tilt" for everyday wear. I also like their Roxy wedges. :-)

I am a southern californian girl, born and raised at the beach....Will always say reefs are the best, and I love my old rainbows.

  • They are a bit spendy...  but Clark's are the most comfy of any kind/style of shoes that I have ever found.  I pretty much buy that brand exclusively now.
