Cary-ites! (and surrounding nesties) Interested in a GTG?
DH and I moved to Cary almost a year ago, and sometimes feel like we live in a retirement community! I feel like our neighbors are all either older with more mature families, or are retired. DH's office is only 3 people, mine is about 15 and not very social, so it's been hard to meet people through work. We're involved in some community activities, but have not met any other couples around our age to just hang out with! We are *almost* 30 and 31. Up for dinner, drinks, grilling out, etc. Anyone else in the same boat?! Let me know if you would be interested in a GTG!

We live in an older neighborhood as well, so I know what you mean! DH is 28 (29 in July) and I'll be 27 on Thursday. We're expecting our first child in June, so I won't be able to take you up on drinks for a little while longer

DH and I live in a neighborhood that only consist of a couple houses and while we know one neighbor, the other, we don't know (they're really busy).
We've also met some awesome couples through our church, but we're always up for new friends

I have recently come over from the KNOT, (got married 4 weeks ago) and hubby and I live in Southern Pines/ABerdeen, NC. Its obviously a bit farther than Cary, but I am new here and having a hard time meeting people! We live right by Pinehurst which is HEAVILY retired. Hubby is in the Army, and just deployed last week, so its even harder to get myself out there! I would love to meet a group of nice people, to grab dinner or drinks or anything along those lines.

We too have a young, married couples thing going at our church which is Macedonia United Methodist Church. If anyone's looking for a church, try it out...DH and I just joined as members two weeks ago!
