Clinique

Does anyone else use Clinique??  I was looking for a new facial cleanser / moisturizer  / skin regime because I didn't think the products I bought at the drug store were doing it for me anymore (I have tried everything since I was a teenager - from Clean & Clear to Ponds, Biore, etc.).

The other day on my way home from work I stopped at Macys and wandered over to the Clinique counter.  The consultant there was so nice and spent 1/2 hour reviewing the best products for my skin with me.  Before I knew it, I was walking away having spent over $200.00 on new products - HA!  I was skeptical that it was worth the money, but I used it last night for the first time and again this morning and I have already noticed a dramatic, noticable improvement in the texture and tone of my skin.  I'm in love.

If you don't use Clinique, what products do you use for your face and do you think they work well?

  • I use Clinique moisturizer, foundation, blush, mascara, powder, lip gloss...um, I think that's it.

I used to be a Lancome fan, but it was too expensive so I made the switch over to Clinique.  I really like it and have been using it for at least 3 years now.  I love buying their makeup at Nordstrom and love their free gift with purchase.

  • I love love love Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel - I tried the lotion, but it was too greasy for my oily prone skin. Switched to the gel and I haven't looked back. It's pricey (~$25) but lasts forever. It is the perfect moisturizer.

  • I have alot of Estee Launder makeup, but Clinique seems to have alot more shimmery shades of eyeshadow, which I love.  I think I'll be buying more of their products now.

  • I bought their three step series - face wash, toner, and dramatically different moisturizer, pluse the Take The Day Off makeup removing milk, eye cream, and an extra moisturizer for the day with an SPF 25, and a night cream that fights free radicals and has antioxidents.

I now want to buy an exfoliating scrub to use once in awhile, and a seperate gentle makeup remover for my eyes.  I'm already addicted.

  • yeah, I've been using the Clinique 1, 2, 3 step process for years.  I've never even thought about changing.

I recently discovered the gel version of their 2 step moisturizer.  Loves it.
