Steph, I can't believe Zach is 2 weeks old!!
Have you sufficiently healed yet?
Not sure how long these things take!
Re: Steph, I can't believe Zach is 2 weeks old!!
I can ask whatever kind of question I want. It can't all be puppies and rainbows, remember?
Oh yes, I forgot...you are Jacki aka queen of snark! HAHA....
That would be like me asking you if you think your little student boy is a hottie!
Seriously, What are you wanting to know, if her vagina poured out? That was a totally inappropriate question to ask a new mother.
I didn't realize this was such a personal question. We talk about personal issues all the time here, so I didn't think it was such a big deal. There are several great mothers on this board who have been a great resource for me, as someone who wants to be a mother some day.
I must admit that I wonder why this is such an issue. I just wanted to know about how long it takes to feel "back to normal" after giving birth. I have a hard time reading what you mean sometimes on this board, where I have to rely on written word, not tone of voice. For example, do you really think I'm snarky? And what the heck does my exchange student have to do with all this?
If you wanted to know how she was feeling you should have just asked "how are you feeling?" Wording that question the way you did was a little off. Because Steph is my friend, I am not even going to begin to describe why asking someone on a public message board if she is "healing sufficiently" is tacky. That is her personal issue and if she wants the world to know she can start a post about it herself.
For the record, You are NOT snarky, and your student didn't have anything to do with this...It was an example of an odd question to ask someone.....gah, you take the fun out of this.
I'm known for sucking the life out of rooms IRL
And wording questions weird.
Why does that not surprise me........
LOL.
Jacki Rocks!
Really!?!?! LMAO!
You mean like because having a baby decreases the desire for other things? How's THAT for a weirdly worded question?!?
LeeAnn- I guess you didn't experience this with the c-section? LOL.....
