Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Daughter fail
I completely forgot that my dad's birthday is this Thursday. DH has my car today, so I'm stranded and I can't even go buy a dang card. If I get one tonight and send it out in the mail tomorrow, do you think it'll magically get there in one day? I'm pretty sure I did this last year too.

Can you order a basket from 1800 flowers, sharis berries, harry/david, etc?
If you order it tonight, it should be able to get there by Thurs....they have a ton of same day delivery stuff.
its okay I am always a day late with my dads bday card.
he doesn't seem to mind at all - but I always call him on the day.
I would do this if it were my mom, but my dad would definitely think getting flowers or chocolates as weird. And way more expensive than a card. He's all about not spending money!

If all else fails you can always call him thursday to wish him Happy Birthday and say "did you get the card I sent?"

Across the country! If they lived where we live then it would get there in one day, no problem. Our mail is super fast. Whenever they send me stuff it takes like 5 days to get here! Hopefully it'll just get there on Friday.
