Landscaping lights

We have a sidewalk that we poured this weekend. I would like to put some landscaping lights around it but we also want to put a fence (in a few months) that will go across the sidewalk and meet the edge of our house. Would it be better to wait with the landscaping lights so the fence doesn't interfere with the electrical parts of the lights or will it be okay?[Poll]

Re: Landscaping lights

  • In addition to your concern about the electrical, I feel like if it were me, I might also change my mind about the placement of some of the lights or something once the fence was in place.  So I would wait.
  • I would wait, but if you HAVE to have some lights around there now, you could always pick up some of the solar powered ones you just stick in the ground. I saw some nice ones at Target this weekend. Then when you do the fence, you can either replace with something more permanent, or move them around to your liking.
