ETA: If no one picks AR, I'm gonna cry! I worked REALLY hard on my pictures! ::pout::
This. If I had to choose, it would be Chicago. It's a lot like Boston in terms of the size and culture. And it's a fun city with nice people, and lots of great restaurants and things to do. I have had a great time every time I've been to Chicago. And even tho it doesn't have any ocean, Lake Michigan is pretty damned cool.
I'm perfectly content where I am, but if I had to pick, I would probably pick Nooner or Kari's CO. I have distant family members out there (my dad's cousin that has lived out there since before I was born). I've always wanted to go visit. haha

If I didnt hate walmart with a passion...
Yay for people picking Alabama! I'm shocked.
I'd choose Memily. I'd love to live at the beach, and her tiny little beach community just sounds really nice.
I love where I live. We MA girls gave you all a great guide as to what to see when you visit! MA is a great place (Turtle "lovers" and all)!
I lived in DC for 10 years and I loved it there, but for something new I'd pick Memily's area. I've always wanted to go to the Outer Banks.
I'd probably go with DD in Alabama as well with SMo in the Mini-Apple as a close second!
Ames - the low cost of living is very very tempting! It's sooo bad here - in my town, the CHEAPEST house on the market right now is $370,000 and it ain't that nice!

Also, MB and I had a discussion about a gallon of milk. She said in MA it's about $4 a gallon. Here, it's about $2.50.
I'll pick AR if you pick Dayton!
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Ditto this. I like the idea of being outside the city but still being able to get at it with relative ease which is basically what we have now living in the Chicago suburbs.
Massachusetts also sounds very tempting with all the Niners around!
I can beat that... 1400 sq ft for $65,000. My area is SO cheap. You can get a 2000 sq ft home for less than 100K
I hate you all....

This is true for here, too.
I pick the Outer Banks. I love the beach!!
It was really close between Salem and NC; I'd love the history of living in Salem, but it's the lack of snow that would seal the deal.
Ditto, MB...although, thankfully - my family gave us a sick deal on our house - it's ridiculously more than that.
Holy wow, I'm moving up north!!!! We aren't bad here, but if there is a house for sale for that cheap then it is in a neighborhood that you would want bullet proof glass...I'm just sayin'.
