moving to little rock

hello ladies! my husband and i are moving to little rock in a few weeks (we're in fayetteville for 3ish more weeks, just moved out last week from california!), and would love to get to know some people out here, as well as find out all the good restaurants, places to go out, etc! hope to hear from you all soon!

we're pretty laid back...hubby loves simple foods like burgers, pasta, steak, and beer. he's super outdoorsy (loves mountain biking, if anyone knows of any good mountain bike/downhill trails!!), and we like to try out fun new restaurants, bars, theaters, etc. we're pretty open to whatever little rock has to offer!

Oh, you HAVE to at least try out the Flying Saucer. If you or the hubs are beer connoisseurs, sign up for their club. It can be great fun to try all of their beers.

Little rock is where my Grandma lives. It?s a wonderful place to live. We use to spend wonderful holidays at that place.

I lived in Little Rock my whole life (until I got married last month).  If you like burgers - Arkansas Burger Company on Cantrell is really good.  A local pizza/pasta place is DamGoode Pies. One place I really enjoy that has an interesting atmospher is Cajuns Wharf.  It has a deck over looking the Arkansas River and has live music on teh weekends.  Its a pretty fun bar to hang out at that isn't downtown.

I love the Heights area....It has som really cute shops and great places to eat! Sushi Cafe is a great place! I really like Delicious Temptations on Rodney Parham for breakfast/brunch. They are open everyday. Buffalo Grill also has an amazing burger, its a must try. Cotijas downtown is an excellent mexican place. Bar Louie is a good hangout and so is Ernie Biggs downtown.

Dave and Busters is a great fun place to go. La Huerta is a good mexican place.

ZaZa's has great pizza and a salad bar. Do you know where yall are living yet? My husband and I just moved here and we love living downtown North Little Rock. There is a great biking trail that has mountain biking trails off of it...the River Trail. I am sure there are others as well but my husband and I have road bikes so I only know the River Trail.  There is a nice  romantic Italian Restaurant downtown North Little Rock called Ristorante Capeo, I would definitely recommend it. Thanks for all the recommendations! We are living in West Little Rock, in Chenal.  We like it, still getting used to it...its quite a bit different from Orange County! We will definitely have to try out some of the places you guys suggested...I've already tried ZaZas and LOVED it! Might be my favorite place so far! Thanks ladies!
